How To Tell If Your Dryer Vent is Clogged ?
There are a few clues to tell if your dryer vent is clogged. First thing.. You should NEVER wait until your dryer is clogged before having your dryer vent cleaned, that is simply being negligent. Yearly maintenance cleaning does not cost that much. It is litereally gambling with a potential fire hazard and all the drama that comes with that negligence.
The first clue is that the dryer is taking longer to dry. It happens so gradual that normally, you don’t even realize that your clothes are taking longer to dry.
A second clue is that the dryer is really warm when you touch it while the clothes are drying.
A third clue is, seeing lint in the back of your dryer. You should not see any lint in the back of the dryer, because it should be leaving your home through the dryer vent in the wall going outside.
